How to start a conversation online with your crush?

Theres this guy I really like and we are friends on Facebook and stuff, but I don't know how to start a conversation with him. Is it normal to say hey but then say that ';It was the wrong chatbox';. we dont know eachother very much..help!How to start a conversation online with your crush?
That idea's a bit strange, but so is just saying hey, what you need to do is make an excuse as to why you are talking to him. Ask him what the homework was in one of your classes, or to help you on homework, or ask him if he knows so and so's number, etc.How to start a conversation online with your crush?

How about you just start with a simple, ';hello, how are you?'
just say ';hi'; and you dont need to make the ';wrong chatbox'; comment, start an innocent convo, just saying ';hi'; doesnt tell him anything but ';hi';
First start commenting on his statuses and having nice conversations. Then later on im him but obviously not that same day. Maybe a nice ';goodnight'; instant message would be good
Look For something he likes,And that you like,Look through his pictures and Profile try to find something,If you find anything send him a message talking about it.He may found you guys
