How to start a convo with your crush?

My crush and both like each other, and we have for a long time, but he is sooo shy. We don't have any classes together and whenever i see him he's with his friends, which makes it difficult to talk to him... What should I do? Just ask him a question, even if you already know the answer, just start talking to him, then your confidence will grow over time , then u get closer too him and yeah:L
Ask to borrow a pencil/pen from him, that's a start I suppose. You really need to find a time when he's alone, which sounds almost impossible, but there's bound to be a time, and when there is that opportunity don't let it slide! Talk to him whenever you get the chance. Good luck =]
You need to let him know that you're interested in him. When you see him try to make eye contact and smile or wink at him. This will make him want to get some room alone with you. But if there are always a lot of guys around him a simple ';hi'; is always effective. Good luck girl and go get him!
