Shy guys help!!! Does he like me or not?

Shy guys I need your help!!! This is going to be long but please read it!!!



I have known this guy for nearly one year, but I never paid attention to him. We work at the same place. I am a receptionist there. Lately, I have noticed he is around me quite often, asking for things e.g. he wants a pen and then he comes to return it, etc. However, I noticed when I am there by myself he is very nervous and shy. Once he was looking for someone and he made it obvious by walking and looking around, but he didn't ask me, even though he was standing just a metre away, so I asked him and then he started talking and smiling. He is an extremely nice and polite guy.



Since then I started developing crush on him and found myself being very shy in front of him too ;o( Now I find it very difficult to talk to him. Sometimes I feel he is looking at me but when I look at him he looks away. Few weeks ago he had a problem with his pass. The security guard took it from him and wanted to ask me what the problem was, but the guy got really nervous and said: ';No, no, no..it's okay'; He was looking down, completely avoiding eye contact with me and quickly walked away. In one hour he was there again (he goes in and out quite often as he is a smoker) and had a problem with his pass again. This time the security didn't come to me and tried to fix the problem himself so the guy was waiting there by turnstiles, far away from the reception for about 15 minutes ignoring me completely. I wanted to start conversation with him but I was so nervous and confused that I didn't say a single word ;o((( Then my colleague came and started talking to him so he came closer to us. As he was approaching, he gave me this look. I don't know how to explain it, but since then I knew there was something going on. They didn't talk long as he is very shy and reserved in general. While he was still waiting nearby, turned with his back towards us, I finally said something funny to him, but very quitely, so I wasn't sure if he had heard me. To my surprise, he turned around and responded to me with a big smile on his face. Then we exchanged few words (both looking nervous lol) and he left.

However, since then we didn't talk. I see him nearly every day. I try to look at him, but he hardly ever looks at me. If he does, he just says hi, how are you or smiles and winks at me. Sometimes he looks at my colleague and say hi to her first and then he looks at me or he looks my direction but doesn't make eye contact.

Last week, I was waiting for the lift and saw him coming from outside, he saw me too but took stairs instead ;o(( Next day, he was expecting a visitor and he came to the reception and asked my colleague about him, ignoring me again. My colleague didn't know so she looked at me and I answered him. I think I sounded cold as I really don't understand his behaviour!!! He went for a smoke just half an hour later. I was there by myself and he looked at me and winked. OMG!!! I seriously can't figure this guy out. Please shy guys, can you give me your opinion on this???

One more thing-very important, though! My colleague heard that he has a girlfriend and child. But she doesn't know for sure. He is always by himself and talk to people only about work. I was trying to find out from a few people but nobody knows anything about him ;o((( I know the best thing would be to ask him directly, but I am too shy!!! ;o(((Shy guys help!!! I think he may like you, being shy myself I would say that if he liked you, he would try not looking at you on purpose. At least that's what I would do. I would especially say this is true, if he thought you were attractive. But if he has a girlfriend, he may be feeling guilty for looking at you, and is flirting with you by winking and just being friendly. He probably doesn't even know that you like him or that you are shy around him. If you really want to know, best way is to confront him about it. Chances are you woudn't get rejected, and he would appreciate your honesty.Shy guys help!!! Does he like me or not?

well....after my eyes got a bit tired of reading =D i would have to say from my shyness perspective that he does a few things i do with the girl i like but have no chance with cuz of my shyness =(....i never look at her eyes, well they are beautiful, i only do it when i know she wont see me, and i always look on the floor or not at her when i know she is alert and looking around, either that or the guy just day dreams or spaces out a lot so idk....i just told u wat i do to kind of help i guess......
